Wet insulation in hotel attic
The flooded hotel attic was the result of a frozen sprinkler head that had burst during a winter freeze event. This resulted in a water loss that covered three floors in the hotel. The process to restore the structure began by extracting the water from the affected floors and by removing the blown in insulation with our insulation vacuum. We were able to isolate the affected rooms to allow the hotel to remain in operation. Equipment was placed to begin the process of drying out the structure. We monitored and adjusted our drying equipment daily to help expedite the dry process. Once drying was complete we cleaned all carpeting allowing the rooms to be occupied.
